The scale actually moved.....

Yep! You heard me. It moved this morning. I am a few pounds below (my low) since I restarted on February 5th. It has been a long few weeks but I did it. FINALLY. Now as long as I can keep the ball rolling I will be ok. :) I had such a good feeling this morning when I saw that. I had lots to do today and had to head out of town to take care of a few errands and decided to call my mom and see if she wanted to meet for lunch. I am hoping it was not a HUGE mistake. We ended up going to this restaurant called Micheal's. Since they obviously have a menu I figured I could find something there if not on their buffet. WRONG!!!!! Their entire menu consisted of sandwhiches or burgers. WTH? Nothing on there was carb friendly except for the meat they put IN the sandwhich. Unfortunately, except for the ham and beef, everything was breaded. I didn't even think about it but I ordered 2 walley fillets. I asked how large they were and if I could get them without the bun and she said she would see if they could make adjustments to the bill since I wasn't getting any sides either. That was great. Not many restaurants I have gone to have been that generous. I really should have ordered the beef. Since I didn't think about it when I ordered I almost slapped myself in the forhead because of course it came breaded, deepfried, and why not, burnt? Well, I was so hungry I could have started munching on the food that the people beside us had. I figured they would mind a little too much so I kept my grimey little fingers to myself. I sucked it up and started eating.

One thing I hate the most about fish is they fishy taste. Restaurants usually are a safe bet especially when it comes to walley. I have never had a fishy tasting walley filet. Of course, that was until today. I asked for mayo (don't care for tarter sauce) and used it sparingly. After I got done with the first one I decided it wasn't going to cut it since that had no taste and the only thing I was tasting was the fishy stuff. I got some ranch dressing off of the salad bar and dipped in that. I could have drenched the pieces in the ranch dressing and it still would not have helped. I like ranch dressing on alot of things including my meatloaf. Not that the meatloaf tastes bad but it sure adds that something. I don't care for Ketchup and don't usually have bbq sauce around because no one eats it. Although, my oldest daughter all of the sudden likes it. Maybe I will have to make sure I have some around. Well, it has been a long day and I still need to get the garbage out. Take care!
